the coffee shop manager is calling the police on a patron who was quietly reading a piece of his writing out loud to himself

I don’t get what the fuck he’s thinking, because the patron is a paying customer and he wasn’t being loud or boisterous or anything, and a coffee shop where speaking out loud means the police get called is probably not a coffee shop that’s going to stay in business for very long.
Anyway, now the patron is filming everything (including the coffee shop manager taking pictures of him) and uploading it all. This is probably a pretty optimal approach.
